This past weekend, my company, Buckeye Concrete & Design, had the pleasure of having Sunrise Inn cater our annual Christmas luncheon, and they truly exceeded our expectations! The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. Bobby ensured that all arrangements were handled as discussed. I highly recommend their services and will certainly consider them for future events!

This was my first time coming back to this restaurant since when I was very little. It was really good, and the portions were maybe some of the biggest I've ever seen! We got our food reasonably quick, (thanks Kim!) And it was a great experience overall.

We were in town for an overnight family getaway and found this place on Google Reviews. The well above average ratings and reviews of 4 plus stars are indeed well earned by this establishment. Don't let the neighboring shuttered businesses and consistently closed establishments around this spot sway you elsewhere. The unassuming building that houses this prohibition era establishment hides some incredible food, amazing sports memorabilia, and a waitress named April who this family felt as if we knew forever by the time we finished dining here. We ordered the Deluxe Deep Dish pizza (family of 4 here). We opted for the large. April let us know that this pizza would take 45 minutes at least to bake. We were fine with that wait. April suggested we order small side salads which we did (get the vinegar based feta dressing - you will not regret that). We also ordered mozzarella sticks for our two teenage kids. April offered us some freshly made bread which was warm when she served it and she even brought us a nice sized bowl of their sauce with 2 meatballs that "must've fallen in there". The sauce....this is the stuff of Grandma kitchen MAGIC. Soooo genuinely amazing that I decreed this place to be worth the 2 plus hour drive from our house I'm PA to come get again ANYTIME! But wait, those meatballs - well once again - truly INCREDIBLE! After tasting them - we wished we would've opted for the meatball deep dish instead of the deluxe we ordered! The mozzarella sticks were fantastic as well! While waiting for our pizza, I found myself looking around at all the sports memorabilia on the walls. This place has some autographs that should be in a museum! Have Ruth, Jim Brown, Jack Lambert, and sooo many others! Pennants of world series from the 50's....Dino must've been a really well liked guy because he had MANY personalized autographs to him on these walls! April came with our pizza and once again - she amazed us with her ability to artfully manage that huge pie in one hand and still bring plates and goods in her other hand to our table! She sliced and served the first slices of our pie to us, explaining that she placed a plate upside down underneath the pie tray to "hold in the goods" of what remained on the tray. She also brought us another side of that Heavenly sauce for us to enjoy with our pie! This pizza was unlike any deep dish pizza I've ever had! The dough was irresistibly perfectly done! Not too chewy yet not too hard and crusty! Perfect! The contents of this pie were amazing as well! A feast in every bite and a work of OMG AMAZING IN EVERY SLICE! We left with leftovers, and a nice sized to go container of that Heavenly sauce! I am not over stating one BIT of how great this place is! Do yourself a favor and get to this hidden mecca of incredible food and ask for April! I know we will be BACK!

We absolutely loved this place. From the second we pulled up, we parked behind the building and started to head around, a worker came out the back (I think on a break, but not sure) and stopped us, super friendly, telling us we could head straight in through a back door. We seated ourselves. I went to the restroom, and that was the only thing I could find fault with. The stall I used had a little issue with the lock, and I had to lift the door to slide the lock through, which was pretty difficult to do since I have injured wrists from an accident. Our waitress was great. Super friendly and nice. I had some questions about the special sauce, and she had no problems going back and asking about it and coming back and telling me. During the meal she came and checked how we were doing, came back again and filled our waters. Super good customer service! The food was amazing! We all had burgers (me, boyfriend, our child). We are so happy we found this place. It tasted like fresh ingredients and was juicy and delicious. We can't wait to try more food from here. The amount of options there are to choose from is extensive! The menu is huge. It's definitely a place that will have something for everyone. Also, the booths had little individual hooks at each one to hang coats and purses from. I loved this little touch. I've never seen this at a restaurant before and it's such a great idea!

Excellent service and the food was great too. Came back again during a trip up from Virginia. Absolutely love this place.

I love Sunrise. But, today in particular was a fabulous experience! We had a birthday party for my sister in law, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Alyssa served us and was AMAZING! She seemed to become a part of our family. You can be sure that we will be back.

Omg...I get filled up just thinking of this place and food. The deep dish/Chicago style pizza is the best found anywhere. 2 slices per person maximum or you may explode :)
